The Palisades Hub is ready to help you put on a show!
If you would like to organize a public performance at the Hub we would love to hear from you. We are currently offering our Social Hall or Sanctuary at a greatly reduced rate for public events by independent artists and local organizers. The Hub provides the space and support you need for a successful and fun event; you put together your show and take home 100% of ticket sales. Here's how it works:
What the Hub offers ($150 due at booking):
-5pm load-in for evening shows (afternoon shows negotiable); music must end at 10pm, building cleared by 11pm.
-The room, stage, lights, plus any tables and chairs you require.
-Three parking spaces right next to the stage down a short flight of stairs for load-in.
-Events may be BYOB, but the Hub can also set up a small concession stand.
-Listing on our website calendar, social media, weekly newsletter and listserv posts.
-PA system w/engineer (added $75)
-Projector w/screen (added $75)
[PA and Projector specs are available HERE.]
-16" carpeted risers; max 8' x 6' (added $50, Sanctuary only)
Organizer's Responsibilities:
-Putting together the show and communicating all info with performers.
-Setting up an advance ticket link (if desired) and providing a door person for the duration of the event.
-Providing the Hub with all promo assets (graphics, event description, artist bios, preferred videos and artist links, door time, show times, ticket link and payment options at the door), ideally one month prior to the event.
-PROMOTING YOUR EVENT! The Hub will be happy to post to our channels as a supplemental effort.
-If using the Hub's PA, providing stage plots and input lists in advance of the show.
-Setting up tables and chairs before the event and putting things back after (with the Hub's help).
Normally the Hub's performance spaces rent for $75/hr but to encourage community engagement and artistic experimentation we are offering a full evening for the price of only 2 hours, mainly to cover our facility costs. We've hosted community-powered jazz, rock and country music concerts, author talks, cabarets, theater performances, acoustic songwriter showcases and more.
What will you bring to the Hub?
