DIY VENUE: Hub staff and volunteers will do their utmost to assist, particularly for larger events, but the Hub is primarily a "do-it-yourself" venue (which is how we keep things affordable!). You set up, you clean up (i.e., "leave no trace").

AMENITIES: There are tables, tablecloths, chairs as well as free, public wi-fi available for use. An 8-channel PA system, projector and screen are also available for an added fee.

ACCESSIBILITY: For events in the Sanctuary, Hawthorne Room or Parlor there is an exterior door on the same level that does not require stairs to access from the sidewalk. However, the narrowest door into the Sanctuary from there is only 27" wide, and the unisex bathroom door only 24.5" wide. There are two stairwells that take you between the Sanctuary and the Social Hall with a landing in between. There is an exterior door in that landing but it requires navigating a single step down from the sidewalk and then another step up to cross the threshold. From there it is 7 stairs up to the Sanctuary and 14 stairs down to the Social Hall, both equipped with passenger-only Stair Glides (400lb max; mobility devices must be carried separately). On the Social Hall level there is a two-stall, unisex bathroom but it is unfortunately not ADA compliant. We sincerely apologize to anyone affected by these shortcomings. PARKING: There are three parking spots reserved for renters and lots of free street parking for guests.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT: 

• A block up from Metro's D94 Gallery Place - Sibley Hospital bus line.

• A 5-10 minute ride from the Tenleytown Metro stop.

CANCELLATION: Once a booking has been confirmed by paying the invoice in full it is non-refundable but can be rescheduled up to 14 days prior to the event. For any reservation cancelled within 14 days of the event, 100% of the rental fee is forfeited by the renter. In the case of severe weather events accommodations will be made.
