About Us
Community, reimagined.
Your Community Gathering Place
Nestled underneath beautiful oaks, the Palisades Hub facility and campus have been a community pillar since the early 1900s. Now, we are looking towards the future and how this space can continue to be a place of connecting, learning, and serving in the Palisades and the greater DC community for the next 100 years. Our story is unique, and we encourage you to read about our journey. You can also check out our brochure or contact us directly with any questions!
The Hub's Journey
The facility and campus at 5200 Cathedral Ave NW is owned by the Palisades Community Church (PCC), a congregation celebrating its 100th anniversary in October 2023. The PCC has been integral to the Palisades community since its inception. In 2019, the congregation took stock of the challenges it faced managing the large facility as a small congregation. With the guidance of Thrive Impact Consulting Group and significant input from the community and community leaders, the Church's leadership decided to form a non-secular/non-religious organization called the Palisades Hub to take over the operation and management of the facility and campus. The Hub came into being in early 2021.
The Hub is responsible for maintaining a welcoming, warm, accessible, and open space for the community. We are proud to work with many organizations to provide the community with excellent programming, and we consider those who house their offices in our building to be our cherished Community Partners. Some of these relationships go back 100 years!

With a couple of years under our belt, the Hub is steadily working to improve the facility and campus at 5200 Cathedral Ave NW, working to make the space more accessible and accommodating. Since 2021, the Hub has undergone significant improvements: new flooring and AC systems in the Sanctuary and Social Hall, upgraded meeting rooms and classrooms, and new landscaping with native plants. Looking ahead, we are focused on making the Hub more ADA-accessible and increasing the facility's security.
Many wonderful things have happened here in the past couple of years. We can't wait for more!
